Last night I had a joy of attending a Ladies Tea at my sister-in-law's church. Festive atmosphere, beautiful decorations, smiling people, and a wonderful speaker. It was a great way to begin the holiday season.
Every table was decorated by a different person
Table decorators brought dishes from home
in order to make every table look unique.
This was a perfect way to end a hectic week of many meetings on top of regular school work. So, today I celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Yes, i might be bit early and my home is not ready, but I am in the spirit. Just might play a few Christmas carols while I work today.
What a lovely way to end a hectic week. One local Christian radio station is already playing Christmas music! I listened this morning. Can't wait to start decking the halls.
ReplyDeleteI have been listening to Christmas music on the radio as well, but yesterday at the tea, we sang a few carols as well!
DeleteHow fun and what a neat way to decorate the tables. This makes me want to sing..."It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."
ReplyDeleteThis past Tuesday we had our first snow...it was definitely looking like Christmas (unfortunately it melted all too quickly).
DeleteThese are fancy table decorations. I saw a big Christmas tree on Tallinn old town square. They will open the Christmas market on the 22nd. I hadn't realized that holidays are only 5 weeks away.
ReplyDeleteI think I will set my window candles this weekend as it is getting to be so dark. It will be nicer to come home with candles in the window. Are you going to the Christmas market??
DeleteLights went up on our house this week, but they won't be turned on until Thanksgiving. I hate walking into Walmart because they have posted how many days until Christmas. It will be here too soon. What a great way to end the week!
