Blogging Community

I love using my new markers two write in my journal. Picking colors that match my mood--it just makes me happy!

One night I was trying to think what this blogging community at Two Writing Teachers means to me, I just started writing words down. Words that I connect with slicing and slicers.Take a look:

This community really does give me so much! I think each slicer needs his/her own bazinga coupon! (If you don't know what means, you might want to check my post yesterday:)

Happy slicing for five more days!

P.S. I just read Deb's post about #engchat on Monday night! They were talking about words also! During the chat, Penny Kittle gave a writing challenge. Want to find out more, hop over to Deb's page to read more!

What words come to your mind when you think about this slicing/blogging community?

  1. Accepting, loving, caring and all of the above that you wrote. Even though I've never be involved in the teaching profession (except thru Michelle), I have always felt accepted here. Great slice.

  6. Trust is a big one for me. I feel like this is a community I can trust the precious stories of my life with. Some position me as a solid parent and others make me look like I have no idea what I'm doing. Either way, I trust I won't be judged harshly by my fellow slicers.

  8. These are some great words! I agree with many of the comments above. "Inspirational" definitely fits; as does "supportive," I think.

  9. I would add "poetry". People have poetry hidden in their lives and many are able to find and express it.

  10. Oh how I love this post!!! I love the words...it reminds me of A Snicker of Magic...
I agree with ALL the words shared. I love Terje's word, "poetry"!! The words that comes to mind, for me, are acceptance and belonging and in the words of Anne Shirley, "kindred spirits"!
