Slice of Life #31
Writing everyday for 31 days straight.
Definitely a new experience for me.
Where can I get new ideas?
From school, life, church, and friends.
Funny words, events, history and hopes.
Would others comment on my blog?
How would I know before posting....
Surprisingly, many strangers have commented daily
I hope to return their kindness.
I am a writer, published writer!!!
Thank you to Stacy and Ruth!
Thank you for all the great bloggers!
You have played an important role
in encouraging me to share my
thoughts, ideas, plans, stories, poems, words
in a brand new format: blog!
You have all encouraged me tremendously!!
What are my writing plans now?
Maybe Tuesday slicing until March 2013???
Keep writing, until we meet again!!!!
What a fun format for your last slice of the challenge. I hope you'll continue on Tuesdays!
ReplyDeleteTuesdays is the goal!
DeleteI keep staring at SIx Word Memoirs sitting on my end table wanting to give it go. I love your list. The SOLS Challenge is a great experience in a great community.

Six words might help some with writing phobia to take six small steps! It seems possible. Thanks for sharing your technique this month!
ReplyDeleteThat is some great work with those 6 words :)
ReplyDeleteSo many of your words are echoing in many minds, "Would others comment on my blog?" Don't we all have that thought? The feedback gives us motivation to continue. See you Tuesdays!
ReplyDeleteWay to Go Jaana! I am going to try 6 words soon. Maybe on Tuesday. See you then.
ReplyDeleteI love six word memoirs. Have you ever gone to the web site? http://www.smithmag.net/ There are some really great ones there and ideas for using them. This is a wonderful way to say good-bye to March. Hope to read you again on Tuesday!

ReplyDeleteThese six word stories tell it all. What a great and challenging month it has been. I think I'm committing to Tuesdays, but first I'm going to try the 30 Day Poetry Challenge. (Check it out on Facebook)
ReplyDeleteBob Dylan once said that he tries to make it so every line of a song could be a first line. Perhaps this format begs the challenge of making each line count. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteAmazing, huh, that the month is over and we did it! Congratulations!
